  I order from this restaurant at least once a week. They are near my house and I love their food.  As for some of the remarks about rudeness, I have never experienced that. They are always pleasant and their food is excellent.  
  
  I order the bbq spareribs frequently and they are excellent and are not dry, and not tiny as a previous poster said.

  Americanised casual Chinese on a budget - big serving size, but ultimately could be better. We recently came here on a whim and left with full bellies and reeking of fried egg rolls. There are about six tables but 9/10 customers opted for takeaway, and we were the only ones eating in. In fact, there's no table service here, and every order comes out as a takeaway bag.
  
  There's a thermos and a water cooler next to the register. We got what tasted like black tea from the thermos and enjoyed it, but the water tasted like it was infused with a good dose of soju = not good! House special egg foo young was good, but the edges were burnt and I would've liked the sauce served separately. Chicken with cashew nuts had a decent mix of veggies and good nuts, but little did I expect chicken popcorn, and the baby corn didn't smell particularly nice. The classic rice bucket was pack full of steamed medium grain rice, so again, the serving size here was no issue.
  
  The part of the kitchen customers see looked clean and organised, and food didn't take too long to come out although there were only three staff in total. I really hope they improve and do well, but it may not be my first choice for our next Chinese meal.

  Dirty place. Service was awful. Food mediocre at best. Won't be back, ever.

  We normally eat at a restaurant that is physically closer to us but they were closed for New Year's Eve.   We had take-out from here tonight and we really liked it.   We ordered primarily appetizers because of the holiday but enjoyed them.   The chicken wings were delicious!

  In contradiction to my original review, STAY AWAY form this restaurant!
  
  New China City was sold and the food is the possibly the "worst" you or I could imagine.
  
  The original owner is long gone. Don't put your life in the hands of the new owners. Heed the review of M G (03-02-2017).
  
  The new owner & staff have ruined one of the better Chinese take-out's around. I gave the food a try on three different occasions and like M G said, my food was very under-cooked every-time. I tried talking to the lady but she didn't give a damn, she acted like she didn't understand or even want to speak English, she is a money grubber!
  
  Try GOLDEN CHINA @ Peter's Creek & Cove Roads, good food, good people!!!
